What is the DoSelect Secure browser?

DoSelect Secure Assessment Browser is an application to prevent cheating during online assessments. The browser will provide a secure environment by disabling and detecting unauthorized activities.

The DoSelect Secure Assessment Browser will address malpractice concerns by offering  the functionalities to:

Restrict access:

  • Limit the assessment to a secure down browser

  • Prevent opening the assessment in additional tabs

  • Restrict access to unauthorized applications like communication or screen-sharing tools

  • Limit assessment display to the primary monitor

Content protection:

  • Disable screenshot capture capabilities.

Prevent unauthorized tools:

  • Block access to external plugins, including AI-powered solutions.

  • Disable developer tools within the browser.

Minimize distractions:

  • Detect and prompt candidates to disable system notifications during the assessment

How to Enable DoSelect Secure Browser?


  • Reach out to your dedicated customer success manager to request the enablement of the DoSelect Secure Browser for your account.
  • Once your customer success manager processes the request, the Secure Browser will be configured for your account.
  • After the account-level configuration, recruiters can enable the Secure Browser for specific assessments byt following these steps:
    • Navigate to the Advanced Settings section of the assessment
    • Go to the Proctoring Settings tab
    • Enable the DoSelect Secure Browser option
    • Save the changes
    • Send invitations to candidates for the assessment with the enabled Secure Browser
